"We loved The Dean! It was my husband and I for one night. Gym, pool, sauna, everything you can need. Clean! Only thing is rooms are super small, no closet, if you have big bags, you prob can’t keep them open for the day/night."

"I booked in a solo trip just as a getaway from the humdrum. The hotel staff accommodated my disability needs well. The 'premium' room has a view, although due to the location of the hotel, the view is somewhat lacking. If you can ignore the industrial estate in the foreground, you do get a lovely view across Galway city. The food and cocktails are absolutely gorgeous. I was warmly greeted and treated with respect and friendliness. The menu offers a variety of vegetarian offerings that are delightful. Special shoutout to James, who prepared his first ever Cosmopolitan just for me, which was very nice! Also to Chika and Magdalena who were so generous with their time in helping me get my food and drink. The entire staff was so friendly! I do have a couple of disability related quibbles: Getting past the fire doors to the rooms was difficult with the wheelchair because there are no automatic doors available. Perhaps that's a fire safety thing but it made getting to and from my room time consuming. Also, the outdoor lift used to access the front door of the hotel needs better signage. If someone does not make certain that the gate to the lift is latched, it will not function. I had to call the staff to help me on several occasions. Simple signage encouraging users to make sure the gate is latched would be very helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay, and will certainly return with my husband for an evening of good food and drinks. Next time perhaps we will try the rooftop bar!"

"Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable, had two great sleeps. Beds and pillows were amazing. Breakfast the first morning was really good but the second morning not so great. Overall highly recommended"

"Front desk staff were very helpful when I needed to make a local phone call. Breakfast was good and the dining area was spacious and inviting. Rooms were clean and they even brought us a fan because Ireland was experiencing a heatwave."
