"Loved this stay. Affordable, clean, quiet. It’s a bit far for a direct walk to downtown but there’s a bus stop right nearby, and we didn’t mind getting the extra walking in so mad the walk multiple times anyways. The campus is gorgeous, you can walk by the River and get a nice view of a castle. Campus wasn’t busy at all. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for somewhere affordable. I’ll probably be staying here whenever I’m in the city in the future."

"The staff were very nice. Hotel style is cute. Unfortunately the noise makes it very difficult to sleep. Walls are very thin so you hear everything and my room overlooked the trash bins and you could hear every time the gate was open. Further, the headboard to the bed was stained and gross. Lastly I understood there were no closets but there’s also no luggage stand so either you’re accessing your suitcase on the floor or keeping it on the bed. "

"Great little hotel. Hosts are the absolute best! They were wonderful. Parking is tight, but that’s not meant as a complaint. Having parking available is a fantastic benefit. The hotel is easy walking distance to the heart of Galway and several tour operators so that parking spot is a real treasure. "Beautiful property, incredible breakfasts, and Ann and Michael are the most thoughtful and helpful hosts. Our room and bath were lovely, as were the balcony and common areas. An easy drive or bus ride to just about anywhere you would want to see in the Galway area. There is so much to do, and we loved every minute of it! "Staff was kind and very helpful. Hotel is updated and appealing with plenty of parking. The restaurant was fairly priced with good food. Breakfast was great to have but was very standard. Location vs price was to be expected. Room was large but the bathroom was very dated. There was a moldy shower curtain hanging in the bathroom. "

"What a lovely guesthouse! It is spotlessly clean and quiet, and Patricia is a welcoming and gracious host. She prepares wonderful breakfasts each day. I highly recommend Mountain View if you want a Galway-area stay, a bit outside the city."
