"This is an unusual hostel in that there are private rooms with bathrooms too. It had neat boho vibes--reminded me of early 1970's when I was in college. Everyone was so friendly and kind. I had left a bag in a taxi and Sara (?, sorry I forgot already) ran and got it for me. My running days are behind me and I wouldn't have been able catch him in time. "Great location in Cong. Close to everything. Parking wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only advice is that they don't have an elevator/lift. If you're on the second floor, you will have to haul your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. Also, like most places in Ireland, no wash clothes. "

"Did not get the breakfast but the room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the tea kettle and chocolates. The shower pressure was good. Only problem was that housekeeping was cleaning rooms very early and it woke us up early, but the front desk staff said he would let the manager know and compensated us for our trouble, which was terrific customer service. I would recommend this hotel based on quality and proximity of Latin Quarter"

"I had booked two rooms, both with a king sized bed. My in-laws room had a king sized bed; however, our room had a double. I immediately went back to the desk and showed my reservation and was told that, "In Europe, king sized beds are smaller. Your room has a king sized bed"... "We were throughly impressed by the Clayton hotel Galway. Free and abundant parking, easy check in and everything comfortable and available. Convenient location and great AC and strapping that made it comfy. We wish we stayed for longer than just a night. We will be back!"
