Oakwood hotels in Racha Thewa

I stayed for one night after flying in to Bangkok. I'd pre-booked the hotel shuttle from the airport which currently runs every hour. The shuttle is free and was on time and they were expecting me. The grounds are nicely laid out and the swimming pool looked good, but didn't have time to try it. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. There was a good choice at breakfast and coffee was very good. Overall a very good value hotel especially with the shuttle to and from the airport.

The property is excellent to access shuttle bus in Suvarnabhumi airport. The shuttle bus runs at very convenient times. Be sure to inform reception of date and time. The staff are very helpful.

Not too far from airport but not too close an excellent hotel and resort high standards with great facilities with a five star service for a three star price...

Perfect place near airport. Really good food and the rooms are as described/shown.

Good hotel for stopping off

I've visited Thailand 5 times now and stayed here every time. It's such a beautiful, relaxing, and luxurious place to spend a night or two before catching a flight home. The apartments themselves are spacious, ornately decorated, and contain everything you could possibly want, depending on which type of apartment you opt for. The one I'm in right now has a private pool outside which overlooks the stunning lake, and the slightly smaller apartment I was in last night had a view of the river/canal...

Easy to find, 24 hour staff, nice and close to airport. Clean rooms and toilet/shower area. 711 next door

I've stayed at this hotel before, when I have nearly morning flight. This time I was ina room which hadn't been renovated. It smelt pretty musty, the lobby area smelt stale. I hope that the next time I'm in a better room again 😳

Very nice room good air conditioning

Stayed here for 1 night as we had a early flight home the next day. The hotel its self is around a 5/10min drive from the airport but do note there isn't alot near the hotel to do. The hotel its self has a big swimming pool, bar, spa etc so the hotel certainly has alot of things you can do in the hotel. Outside the hotel you have a food market which is a 5/10 walk from the hotel, the hotel is at the end of the road so if you walk to the top and turn right you will see the food market and 7/11....

Stayed here because it was close to airport, collected us and returned us to airport with no hassle . Hotel was lovely, staff were excellent,room was fantastic, real value for money .Balcony was tiny but big enough to have a smoke which was all we required. Would stay here again without hesitation . Highly recommend

Clean and modern bedroom with excellent bathroom. Visited the rooftop pool (although did not use it) which gave great views of the airport and aircraft taking off. Used the Room Service facility in the evening and can recommend the Fish and Chips. Breakfast was adequate although not as wide a choice as some hotels I stayed in on my trip. Only downside with the hotel is no airport shuttle service.

The hotel was great, and the staff were excellent and very helpful. They even gave us lunch as they were trying the kitchen for possible meals for guests, and it was very good. It is perfect for a one night stay over for the airport. The only disadvantage is location it is in the middle of an industrial area. However there is a little market a hundred metres up the road and the people there were great. I would definitely stay there again, for one night.

As is customary with the Carlton, my experience was first class throughout; check in to checking out. As a seasoned traveller I have never returned so many times to a particular hotel but it’s hard to imagine staying anywhere else in Bangkok despite the many options available. Great credit the GM and his team.

Great hotel in a good location. The room was an excellent size with a great sized bathroom. Comfortable bed and plenty of charge points all around the room! Excellent service from all staff who were friendly and attentive at all times!
