"This was a very nice affordable place to stay in Cusco. One thing that I wasn’t expecting was there was no front desk or lobby. I arrived late at night and it’s not very well marked. I had to ring a doorbell and was quickly greeted very nice employee who gave me my room code. (It’s a historic building so they can’t make changes to the exterior.) "In the small town, hotel is found in an alley. There is a stone walkway up but sometimes the receptionist is in and out of the office, so just give it a minute before they show up again. did not get to try the breakfast, but it was complementary disappointed that I didn’t. Walls are paper thin but room is clean and the train is a 10 minute walk down the street along with everything else. Very great location."

"Lilium Valley in Ollantaytambo was perfect for us. Communication with the hosts was excellent during booking and they answered all of our queries. A bonus was off-road parking for our rental car. The hosts were welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. They offered us an early breakfast due to our early start onto the Inca Trail. The accommodation is only a short walk to the main square but was very quiet. We would definitely recommend Lilium Valley."
