AMAZING stay! The best and coolest place we have ever stayed on. If you are visiting Ollantaytambo you have to book this place for a night. Stunning views from the dome and I recommend early check in to enjoy the view. We choose to not stay in the climbing domes and instead choose the top cupole dome which was a short walk to. It was not that expensive and so worth it. We fell asleep to a Thunderstorm meaning we could see lightning on the Victoria Mountain. Everything went smooth with the pick up with communication via WhatsApp. Fist by car and then ATV last meters. Staff was very friendly. The only thing I would give as feedback is to offer a lower pillow as it was very hard and high. But everything else was great, loved the blankets and impressive that this standard is offered on such a high altitud. Make yourself a favor and book this experience!

my stay at the vertical Sky was amazing! the staff, where very nice, the food was delicious, the view on the room was breath taking, waking up at the sacred valley view was such a great experience, so happy that I found this place, if i ever go back to peru this would be the highlight of my trip again, and i highly recommend this place.

Staff was great. WiFi worked. Room was clean. Wish we had a note or something for hot water shower. Took me few mins to figure out. I missed listening to instructions. They need to give more than 2 water bottles of water for all night stay. It’s not enough. Do take hot chocolate packets. I had them from my travel pack and it was amazing having it under the stars. Also it’s 40 minutes away from main town. Not like where the map shows. Do plan accordingly. We couldn’t enjoy morning or breakfast as we had to leave by 8am.

Beautiful and unique stay in Ollantaytambo! The views from this property are stunning and it was an amazing experience to sleep under the stars! Eddy was in communication with us prior to our stay and helped arrange transportation to and from the property. The staff was amazing and knowledgeable about Sacred Valley and taught us so much about the history of the area. We had our two daughters with us and they loved the unique experience! Alll of the food was great and they had vegetarian options for us. I would highly recommend staying at Vertical Sky for an adventurous and unforgettable experience!

Amazing views and staff

This was an incredible stay. The staff (Eddie/Peter/William/Victor/etc) were all very accommodating, dedicating very attentive service and sharing intricate knowledge of the land. The food was great: all organic and made to order. We stayed in domes that had amazing views that allowed a strong connection to the land and mother nature. The domes have their own bathrooms, fridges, and space heaters.

AMAZING! And 5 Star Customer Service

There was a miscommunication on my reservation and what Hotels.com gave me and my cousin and I showed up to the property with single room booked! The hotel was able to adjust our reservation to a double room at no charge - and this was completely my mistake not paying close enough attention at booking.... They were absolutely nothing but kind, caring, and very accommodating! The rooms have a bit of a walk, or some of them you repel into - and it can be a bit treacherous at night. The staff walked us to and from to ensure our safety and showed us the property and amazing views of the sky and Ollantaytambo. I can't want to come back again!

This is an experience not a retreat! It is absolutely stunning up there. Except ice cold, breath taking nights. Be prepared! It is not for the weak, or the faint! You have to be fit, and able to climb.I stayed in the Dome, and that was magnificent. The food was ok again that’s not why you come up here … it is for the BEAUTY! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved my stay. An unfortunate experience.

I had an exhilarating one of kind unique adventurous experience as a first time solo woman traveler in an uncharted Antanuca mountains . I am so so so grateful for staff Carlos and Jairo , who made me feel safe , welcomed and took very good care of me .They are very observant of what I need and how I was feeling with high altitude sickness in a very windy December 29th , 2024 season . I stayed in the dome and had the unique experience of as if Clinging to the cliffs of Antanuca Mountain, deep in the Andes. I love it there. The mountains gave me a sense of peaceful retreat elevated my core confidence to 3.0, I vow to return in summer so I can experience the beauty of Milky Way , Star gazing , and hopefully I have enough courage to sleep in one of the capsules where the staff harness the guest in and out of this luxury suites in the sky . I have come to know staff Carlos’ work ethics and have trusted him for my safety and wellbeing. EXCELLENT in ALL ASPECTS, staff , food are so exquisitely cooked and presented. The domes are warm and cozy .

Amazing stay! The views from our dome were amazing! You are literally on the top of a mountain with views down to the Urabamba river and a glacier on a distant peak. There are only a few staff that work here, and they do everything! From picking you up at the train station and from town when needed (extra fee, contact them through WhatsApp), to cooking a delicious dinner in their small restaurant. This hotel involves switchbacks on a dirt road. The last short stretch is too narrow for a car, so they take you up on a 4-wheeler/quad bike. Don't bring a giant suitcase. There are also stairs involved to get to the domes, so not an option for people with mobility issues. You will get a little winded in the thin air. We were here at the end of March. The domes can get really warm in the daytime sun, there are windows to open to cool it down. It can also get really cool at night. There were extra blankets and a space heater to warm it up. Turn on the space heater before dinner to get the heat started. Beds were comfy, The amount of stars visible at night is amazing!! We would definitely stay here again. The pictures that we posted from Vertical Sky got the most responses from friends out of anything we posted in Peru!

Excellent place to stay, be advised that you have to be in fit healthy condition to be able to hike up to your rooms up on the mountains of Ollantaytambo. Giancarlos and Gabby are excellent hosts, please make sure to communicate with them on WhatsApp before your arrival.

We stayed in the hanging glass capsule. What an adventure! However, safety was top priority. Views are amazing. Property is family owned and Eddy, one of the owners, was on site as well as offered zip lining or hiking. We were greeted with local drink then dinner and breakfast were delicious. The capsule has a jacuzzi with unreal views that we took advantage of! Capsule accommodates up to 4 people and is a unique experience Highly recommend for the adventure seeker.

The property sits in the hills at nearly 12,500ft of elevation with breathtaking views of several snow capped mountain peaks. The staff and dining were top notched and the action adventures were also a lot of fun.
