THIS REVIEW IS FOR MY FIRST TIME IN PUNTA CANA!
The rooms were disgusting! The WiFi did not work, my cellular connection did not work at all unless I was by the pool side. There were no TV Channels and no smart TV- as promised. The shower head was moldy and the air quality was really bad! Im asthmatic, me and my daughter woke up extremely congested! I couldn’t breathe for the first few nights! I requested a room change because of that- not to mention the foul smell coming from the AC and the horrible smell of the beach.
They agreed to change my room, but even then the toilet was not working, they ran out of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel..
In order for me to sleep decently, I left the balcony door open in hopes of better air quality.
The beach was disgusting! Nothing like the pictures. The security on site does not secure the area as they should, there are lot of “salesman” manipulating and robbing people into excursions. They are not with a company or partnered with the resort, which does not guarantee service or quality. Please DO NOT buy from these people, they will charge you and disappear. When I spoke to security, whose name is (Edwin) he didn’t seem bothered, but of course not- I noticed he actually works with them and they all split the money among themselves.
Overall, there could have been better hospitality, and Managment! If I could give ZERO stars I would. Again, this is my first time in punta cana and as of today, I don’t care to return.
