"I like the Congress Plaza because it's still a reasonably priced downtown hotel that is close to a lot of downtown attractions. I didn't find the counter staff particularly professional, friendly, or helpful this particular visit. Was a bit disappointed by that. Otherwise, we liked our rooms (539 and 539A). Will be back. "

"I visited for my birthday. The room was clean except for the A/C vent, It could've had a little more attention to it, but to be fair, maintenance did come while we were there to change the vent but my daughter and I was getting dress at the time. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff were very helpful and nice. "

"Nice hotel. Small rooms but very nice. Staff was nice. Eight minute drive to the convention center which was nice. Easy drive to get to the hotel. Parking each night thru the hotel is an ADDITIONAL $50. Or that’s just normal for hotels in Chicago ? Got a $70 ticket during my time checking in to the hotel. Maybe it’s just a learning curve staying in Chicago. "
