The property is in a great location. It’s conveniently located near the CTA, less than 3mi from Millennial Park, and good restaurants. The property could use a few updates- tv, aesthetics, cleanliness etc. The front desk staff, bar and maintenance were all friendly and helpful.
We liked that everything we wanted to see was in walking distance & front desk was super helpful. We were surprised our room & bathroom did not get tidied up each day.
Really appreciated all of the staff there. Victor and all the others at the front desk, the catering / functions manager very kindly find me somewhere I could work on my laptop cos my room was one of a few that didn’t have a desk. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. Rooms are nice, except light in the lounge area was a bit dim
This property was perfectly located, but parking was nonoptimal (mandatory $79 valet), and the general condition for the price wasn't very nice (room wasn't up to date, furniture placement was oddly configured). Wi-Fi was free but totally unsecured, so my work computer wouldn't connect. Overall, a mid experience at a fancy price.
Great location for access to Art Institute, Millennium park and many restaurants. Rooms surprisingly large for a historic hotel. Could use improvement in user experience.
We were treated with such kindness and care from front desk representative Beverly and everyone we encounter ed. The hotel is on directly on the train line, conveniently located near shopping, theater, restaurants, the Magnificent Mile and The Bean. We walked most places due to the proximity. Cozy beds roo, I loved my comforter so much I looked up the brand. Ill be back.

Unexpected fees and we got the room 30 mins late. Our check in time was 3 pm. Though we got there an hour early, we got our room only by 3:30 pm. They charged $30 more per night that was not mentioned by Expedia.
