It is a massive, stunning property, and I highly recommend staying for at least a full week to actually maximize the experience and enjoy everything available. ​The Culinary Experience ​The food here is on another level—all-inclusive is definitely the way to go because every meal feels like a premium experience. ​Tah-Xido: The Hibachi was absolutely amazing and a must-do for dinner. ​El Mercado de San Juan: While the variety is great, the desserts here were a personal favorite. ​The Service: Across every single restaurant, the servers were amazing. In fact, the entire staff was incredible; the housekeeping team, in particular, did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. ​The Resort & Amenities ​The beauty of this resort is almost hard to describe. It is very large, but every corner is visually incredible and the amenities are top-notch. One of the coolest features is the art classes—being able to take a pottery or painting class right on-site adds a unique layer to the vacation that you don't find elsewhere. ​Excursions ​You cannot stay here without taking advantage of the excursions. The trips to Chichén Itzá and the cenotes were highlights of the trip—well-organized and breathtakingly beautiful. ​Final Verdict: It’s a beautiful, expansive resort with fantastic staff and world-class food. If you can swing a seven-day stay, do it."

"Meals at the buffets were all wonderful. 3 are open for breakfast and lunch. One is open for dinner. We could not book reservations at other restaurants but they only had -4 tables being used. Could keep beach buffet open for dinner and be able to make reservations at check in. Pool could be open till 2200 for adults. The rooms (jr suite) was large, cool, comfortable. Beyond expectations! The staff All fantastic! Cart driver Eric showed us how to get around. Playa and pools Fantastic!! Clean, lots of space. Snorkel by rocks. NO seaweed. Just lovely. What a wonderful place thank you for keeping the natural animals and fauna. Thank you for sharing it. "

"This is the second time being at Ocean Riviera Paradise and it did not disappoint. The staff are extremely friendly and interactive. They get to know your name and chat with you often. They are positive and create a friendly and active atmosphere. The pools, bars, karoake, bowling, shows, the gym, the basketball, tennis, baseball and of course the buffet are amazing. The ocean area is clean, transportation around the resort is easy and there continues to be so much to do and see. The rooms are amazing. We had a swim up pool and took advantage of the water in the early morning. Thank you again to all the staff for the amazing stay. First a wedding and this time a bachelor party. We'll see you again. "This place was awesome! I was mainly here for diving and Dressel divers out of Iberostar made the trip for me. The only negative thing I have to say is I’m an exterminator and I noticed the beds had old evidence of bedbugs, would be nice if they replaced the mattresses for how much we paid. Most people wouldn’t see this. I also saw what looked like a German cockroach in the Mexican restaurant dining room on property at Iberostar. Another thing to note is one of the restaurant’s was completely closed down for renovations which was kinda annoying. The buffet food was mid. Even with those things I give this place 5 stars. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Diving operation right out of the resort. Flamingos, iguanas, Coatis, Turtles, and more wildlife hanging out around the resort. Beach was a little rocky but still beautiful and free of sargassum. Amazing palms. Good drinks. All in all it was a very good time and I would definitely return. Triple check your rooms and make time to go into town to eat out you will have an amazing time."

"Rooms were small but clean. Staff was extremely friendly. The entertainment staff I wish you remembered our name and was extremely nice. Actual if you stay for seven days, the guaranteed reservation at two restaurants otherwise it was buffet style.. pretty much the same thing every night it said they would change out one or two things. There were six in our group and five of us had diarrhea for 4 to 5 days six days were there I ended up getting strep throat… we spoke to valet about ordering pizza and they told us that yes we can have plenty of pizza delivered there so we went to the front counter to order the pizza and the management told us we could not yet when we left today people had pizza delivered… employees were extremely nice … we do not make everything forever. It would be nice to have a variety of different types of food on a daily basis instead of the same buffet."
