We speak very little Spanish but had no problems communicating. All staff was super friendly and helpful. One negative, my sister contracted norovirus."

"Golden palms is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is incredible - friendly, helpful and they go out of their way to make you comfortable and to keep the facilities clean. Quiet chill place to relax, mostly an adult hotel overall it seems and with some nice live entertainment on weekends. "A very beautiful and secluded resort just off of the Ocotal Beach area. A short drive from Playa Coco that includes beautiful black sand beaches. The villa was spacious and had lovely views of the ocean. If you have a car, it is an ideal stop as you can access other restaurants nearby, like father rooster, and others in coco. The restaurant at the hotel was also very tasty, and the staff was very friendly."

"Property is just what it looks like in the pictures. Excellent communication from the hotel on WhatsApp. The apartment was cute, had basic cooking equipment and enough towels for everyone. The floors in the unit really needed to be cleaned and the keys/locks were a bit hard to use, those are my only complaints!"
