"This was an incredible stay. The host was a phenomenal communicator and the property is as beautiful as pictured. If you want to be downtown in the heart of Florence, this is the perfect place to be and it is also far enough from the standard noise. I had peaceful nights and peaceful days, if I chose a late morning. It was literally near everything and I walked to every place I wanted to see. It was safe and easy to get to. "Air conditioning was unacceptable. It was 96 degrees in Florence (36C) the whole week. The room was 81F (27.4C) when we arrived. The A/C was intentionally neutered to blow air at the lowest setting and the room never cooled down below 79F (26C). Absolutely ridiculous to sweat out your paying customers. Stay somewhere else!"

Set in a quiet piazza, the hotel is an 8 minute walk to the Duomo, however the Duomo is immediately in view within steps of the hotel’s entrance.
