"Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh."

"Great apartment with an awesome view of the castle. It was beneficial being able to catch up on some washing. The apartment was spacious and easy to find. Note there isn’t parking nearby so allow for this. It was an easy walk to the recommended car park. "

"The Royal Mile has become a zoo, but it's also the spine of Edinburgh (literally), and so a hotel on an extension of the Royal Mile that's both centrally located and not quite so frenetic is a great compromise.
