We lasted all of one hour in the room before we decided we could not stay and we couldn’t believe that Expedia would even host this place. "My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at Maison Proust last week and it was a great experience. The entire hotel including the rooms and the common areas were extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple though delicious and the coffee was great. The bar offers a good selection of drinks and the lobby area including the round library are designed with great taste. We got to have the spa reserved for the two of us for an hour. What we liked most was utmost coordination among the staff...

"This hotel is right down the street from Moulin Rouge and is above the historic “Black Cat” (Le Chat Noir) restaurant. The restaurant is great and is always open. The hotel rooms are clean and pretty large for Paris. The security at the hotel is good, as you have to buzz in and use your key to go to a hotel floor. Cleaning staff is efficient. Front desk staff is there 24/7 and are very helpful. This hotel is also just a few minutes’ walk from the cafe where Amèlie worked in the movie."
