"Nohga was such a nice spot to call home base for our stay in Kyoto. It is just down the street from the Kiyomizu Temple. The breakfast every morning is so worth it. All of the bread and pastries are made in house from the bakery Cicon, located in the lobby. The room was pretty spacious for a Japanese hotel room, and we loved how there was a water filtration set up in our room for drinking water. Highly recommend!"

"This beautiful hotel is in a nice area just over the bridge from all the Kyoto action streets. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and all necessary amenities. The location is near a subway station and across the bridge from all the action and 20 minutes from Nishiki Market. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and conscientious about our stay and if we needed anything. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Kyoto."

"All very clean and posh. The facilities don’t keep up when the hotel is full, expect to wait for breakfast which itself is good and fresh. Neither the pool/spa nor onsen allow tattoos so unexpectedly we couldn’t use either. Restaurant is expensive and mediocre (à la carte lunch). Hotel garden is great, staff are amazing."

"Hotel was in a fabulous location walking distance to everything within reason all very close to subway stations. Super friendly. There was a Starbucks 7-Eleven and Tully‘s coffee place right underneath."
