"Excelente. Como extranjeros, fue vivir una auténtica experiencia japonesa. Super amables y un desayuno delicioso. Está un poco retirado de los lugares turísticos pero vale totalmente la pena. El cuarto es muy espacioso y sientes mucha paz. "
"The room, bathroom, AND the shower are probably the biggest of all the hotels where we’ve stayed in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.
Did not feel cramped whatsoever.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Just a short walk to the Arashiyama bamboo forest. The location is perfect if you plan to visit the surrounding areas there"
"Totally worth the stay if you're okay with staying a little outside the main city. This place offers traditional Japanese plus Western style rooms. It had all the necessary amenities for s luxurious experience."
"A great ryokan with very friendly staff. The Japanese breakfast was the best we had in Japan! Our room was nice, clean, and had an amazing view. Great location! "
"Staffs were wonderful , very clean clean kimono every day , food was good water tea and coffee also matcha available all the time . Hot springs , natural hot springs, sauna and steam room available , at any time . Respect the culture no shoes, but locker provided for shoes. Shoes were provided. Loved the place. Thanks to all the staffs "
"The check in experience was easy and though it wasn’t too difficult to get to the property was more out of the way than expected for where we were going. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, but the room size was huge and having a washer and dryer on site was very handy. "
"Outstanding. Best hotel in a 3-week trip, directly across from train station yet quiet. Very good and large Japanese breakfast, laundry onsite, free coffee/tea/snacks. Super friendly staff and walkable to many places too, and you get a large room (not the norm for Japan). "
"Well overall it is ok. Double meals was unexpected better than one can think.
Don't forget to prepare for Kyoto accommodation tax. I wish I could have paid together from the beginning.
However it is quite far from subway station so be mindful."
