"We only stayed one night here but we had a great experience from check in to check out. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely restaurants in the area. We ate a delicious dinner at a Chinese restaurant in the Ginza area called Jang Jang Go. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful. Next to it was a Swiss bakery where we found treats to enjoy later. The most significant thing that happened during our stay was a 6.6 earthquake at 11:15 pm approximately 74 km away in the water...

However, hotel's location is not near to the main Kumamoto Station so the only transport to rely on is via tram, not recommended for those who have big luggage as tram can be packed and difficult to move up and down with luggage. Perhaps it will be good for hotel to provide free pick up and drop off services to and from Kumamoto station. Buffet breakfast is decent and staff are all friendly."
