The Civilian Hotel is lovely. It has a warm ambiance matched by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was clean and has everything one could need in spite of its small size. The location is convenient to theaters and restaurants. The continental breakfast has a variety of selections to meet everyone’s tastes. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

Great location, pretty rooms. Hotel has a beautiful restaurant and rooftop bar as well. Staff is great. Some things to note if it matters to you: This hotel doesn’t have a lobby, there is no coffee machine or mini bar in the room. We stayed in a spacious queen room.

The room was tiny (my fault for not reading the sq footage) but we made do. It was clean, quiet, good amenities and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great location for sightseeing as it was a short walk from parks, museums, theaters and shops.
