"Had a great stay at nol Hakone Myoujindai. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the food at the restaurant (half board selected) was outstanding."

"The property is a traditional ryokan which is a bit of fun. At first is appears to be in a difficult location for English speakers but once you know where the bus goes to and from it is quite convienent. However, you do need to be prepared to eat from the seven eleven in the evenings as a lot of the restaurants close super early and the ryokan does not provide meals. T(there is a great sushi ya next to the 7/11) The staff team were very helpful. We had left our passports at our previous hotel...

"Crowded and very loud"

"Overall excellent stay. Yet, they couldn’t accommodate for late check-out. It was hard to look for taxi to drive back to Gora station, instead we had to walked down with our luggages. They should at least provided transportation."

"The staff very helpful . The food really good. But when taking a shower you se mold in the bathroom."

"The place is good and clean. Staff are very friendly but the location wise sucks tho. Very hard to find uber or bus."

"I liked everything about the hotel, especially the service received from Yoshika (sp?) at the front desk. He was absolutely wonderful! He was professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, thoughtful, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. WITH A SMILE, he helped us with so much from learning how to start the washer/dryers to calling restaurants to see if we could get in, to providing restaurant suggestions, to answering our many questions when he seemed to be extremely busy.
