"Overall our one night stay was very good, location and food was brilliant, the only complaint we had, was the mattress on the bed was awful, it was lumpy and we kept falling into the middle, we did tell the staff on leaving, hopefully this will be addressed immediately. "While close to town center getting there requires a walk up a very steep hill--not suitable for old people. The hotel was helpful in terminating our stay after one day. A well placed hotel for younger people requiring a basic hotel. Breafast was good. Evening menu should be avoided."

"Great property at a good price"

"Heating in the initial room was not able to be turned on. No equivalent room was available. I was told I would have to pay for an upgrade or stay in a freezing cold room. Finally, 2 hours later, I was advised I would be moved to another room at no additional cost. This should have been athe immediate and unquestioning solution. Very disappointing. Breakfast was also very disappointing. The most limited (and prepackaged, so not fresh) range for breakfast I have ever encountered in extensive...

"Really comfortable bed. Super clean. Great for a couple of nights stay. Close to the University to meet up with our daughter. Would recommend the Beth Chatto Garden near by for a visit. "

"Even though there are positives in that this hotel is located in a quiet area and has ample parking I do not know how it is rated a 4 star. The decor is from the 70’s and needs a serious update. Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one. The carpets need replacing and there is no ramp into the reception area so you have to carry any luggage up and down stairs. No fridge in the room either. The wi-if was so bad I couldn’t have a 5 minute...

"Self check in was easy. Liked that the doors were code operated. Room was spacious, clean and well thought out. Hairdryer was excellent! Bathroom was clean and functional. Breakfast was great. The hotel is very clean and fresh, would visit again!"

"Nice touch the fridge and microwave the bathroom and room looked clean But the walls are to thin Close to the road the traffic is all u hear . The people above every move they make you can hear, doors closing and feet stomping . "
