Size of the cabin was ok Bedding was very uncomfortable they need to upgrade mattresses Also sofa was very uncomfortable. Did not look forward to spending time in the cabin and going to bed. Overall they just need to upgrade to new furniture and then everything would of been fine

The owners were fantastic! The cabin was clean and so we’re the amenities. Great location with walking tracks near by and a short walk into town.

Due to Covid, some properties are vacant. We are happy with the value of the booking. Stayed at unit 1, one double bed and a bunk bed can sleep 3. The middle bunk bed is difficult to get in but luckily we have only two kids. Place is clean, small but include everything we need. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Laundry is easy to use. Public toilets and showers are clean. Very good location, 2 minutes to the main beach and shops. Will come back again.

the location is great, near the esplanade where u can walk and relax, flexible check-in time, the price is affordable, cleanliness is 👍, laundry is available and cheaper than the laundry shops, my kid enjoyed the pool..probably suggest upgrade on electric stove but still overall, our stay is fantastic & excellent with the help of accommodating staffs.

Great location, compact unit
Great location, very central. Comfortable and quiet cabin. But very small. I would not have called it a 2 bedroom cabin since the double was in the main room and the bunk beds were in corridor leading to toilets. It would have been very cramped if our 14 year old had come. Overall good stay and reasonable price.

The staff at the park were very nice, easy to deal with and always available. Facilities were extremely clean and the cabin we stayed in was perfect. I had an issue with my car and a wall onsite and the staff were extremely helpful and made me feel less embarrassed about the incident which I genuinely appreciated!

The caravan park was well maintained eg the pool, bbq area, the ground however the budget cabin was very dated and not maintained eg leaking tap, noisy fridge, the cabin was on a slope, the pots and pans were in poor condition and not useable. I had to go to the shops and buy my own to cook with. The rate paid for the cabin was excessive considering all of the above. The staff were friendly. Would book again but different cabin.

Hi. Sorry to hear you did not fully enjoy your stay. Perhaps next time staying in a different cabin would better suit you and your needs. The budget cabin is old and quirky which some people love but obviously you didn't. I guess it is a matter of opinion and style. Maintenance is done to the best of our ability but is not always perfect with an older style of cabin which is why it is our budget cabin. We do hope this visit has not deterred you from coming back and staying with us, in a different cabin of course.

We had a lovely stay at the Golden Terrace holiday park we booked the day Covid-19 overnight stays ban was lifted. We stayed from the 1st of June to the 6th our cabin was well set up with everything you needed in a kitchen for cooking which we had to use a lot as many food places were not open. (hopefully they will be soon) Our bed was very comfortable and the cabin was nice and warm, it was nice to find a dog friendly place.Just across the road from the caravan park was a lovely place to walk our dog around the lake. On our walks we saw lots of wildlife swimming on the lake about 10 black swans and 20 pelicans, one morning we even saw a dolphin.There is no better way to spend a cool winter day than to walk around the beach. We are hoping to come back to Lakes again soon and we will book into Golden Terrace holiday park again.

Relaxing break
Our stay here was very relaxing and comfortable. The staff and owners were very pleasant and welcoming. We will take our dog next time we visit here as it is extremely pet friendly. Couldn't have asked for better service.

Hi Joanna, The cabins are generally suitable for 2 adults and/or 3 kids. Given you booked for only 2 adults and you arrived with 3 adults!!?!!, we would of recommend another more suitable unit. Normally we would charge for an extra adult as well but we didn't charge you the extra cost because you booked for 2 adults only. Hope these details helps you future bookings. Cheers

I had some problems with my neighbor which was a permanent resident in the park about the noise, which he was drunk and TV loudly
