"Amazing stay from start to finish, upon check in Brain at the front desk went above and beyond to show us to our room and around the property. The hot springs were amazing after a long day of activities in town. We were able to see sloths and monkeys while at the property which was amazing. I would highly recommend staying here. "

"Fremragende øko-hotel midt i junglen. Hotellet har sin egen 3 km junglesti og vi lå ved poolen og så dovendyr hænge i træerne. Aber, frøer og fugle ligeså. Poolen er dejlig varm og meget børnevenlig. Maden på hotellet stammer fra egen farm. Selv smørret er kærnet fra mælk fra farmens køer. Værelserne er rummelige og fine uden at være luksus. Vi var der i juli og vejret var dejligt med sol og varme. Og selvfølgelig lidt regn også - her midt i regnskoven. Det hører med. Kan virkelig anbefales....

"We loved our stay at Bungalows Las Iguanas. The bungalows was really clean and well furnished with tv, wifi and plenty of towels. The pool and jaccuszzi were great. The owners were really nice and made sure everything was to our liking. They even showed us a sloth was was passing by for a couple of days. The breakfast was great and made fresh to order. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to this area"

"We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Check-in was extremely easy, the free breakfast was fresh and service was great. The AC was great and staff responds super fast using their WhatsApp. Location is amazing as it’s super close to El Salto and the waterfall but avoids the noise of downtown La Fortuna. "Amazing experience. The grounds were so lush and beautiful. The restaurant was also great- fairly priced and quick. Drinks were soooo delicious. Also overlooks the lush trees and even saw monkeys from here!! Another highlight is the staff. Specifically Kenneth in the bar and Isaac at the restaurant. So friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. This is less of a resort feel and more mountain cabin, but still has really great perks like the jacuzzi - we went in every night. Amazing spot!"

"I had a great experience at this hotel! The room was a bit small, but it was extremely clean and well-maintained, which made it very comfortable. The location is excellent—right in the heart of La Fortuna’s downtown. It’s super convenient to walk to restaurants, shops, and tour pickup points. You really can’t beat the access! At night, the sound of motorcycles can be a bit noticeable, but it’s totally understandable given the central location. It didn’t bother me much and was a fair trade-off...

"This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

"This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. "Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!"

"Property is very close to downtown. Walking 1 to 2 km in this town is normal distance. We moved around with rental car. House/condo is very clean and rooms are nice. Kitchen has mostly everything you need. Our family loved it. Alao they recommended very nice Mexican restaurant and a local shop for empanada which were the best. "
