"Dinner at the restaurant is fantastic! The Chocolate tour (5 min walk) was a great mid morning tour and very interesting - make and eat your own chocolate! The walk up to La Fortuna was challenging so ask for a ride of you need one. The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a day pass to Baldi Springs for the locals rate :) "
"Wir hatten eine Familienunterkunft mit zwei Schlafzimmern sowie eigenem Jacuzzi. Es gab zusätzlich eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die gesamte Unterkunft war sehr schön und ruhig gelegen in einer wunderbarer Gartenanlage.
Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich und zu jederzeit hilfsbereit.
Das Hotel ist der perfekte Startpunkt um Ausflüge in La Fortuna und Umgebubg zu unternehmen"

"If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). Secure parking at the apartment beat trying to find parking in town.

"Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!"
"I loved this place . This is not a fancy resort nor is it trying to be. This hotel was affordable and perfect for my family of four: spacious rooms, Good breakfast , lots of birds outside our rooms. Nice and helpful staff walking distance to town . We had a car so we did not take advantage of the many tours they were able to provide . I do regret not doing the sloth tour with Armando but we didn’t have enough time in La Fortuna. "
"I loved the bathroom space and bedroom very beautiful greenery and windows in our room the breakfast alone has us all amazed thank you soo much for being so helpful with helping us book our tour for the day they have soo many options and helpful suggestions thank you all for a magical stay the only things I would suggest would be to have an actual reception bathroom or at least one for more then 1 person at a time and also the pot holes coming in and out 😅 other then this very high maintenance...
"This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...
"For the price, this is a nice little hotel with very friendly staff, right in the middle of town. The room was simple and clean, nothing fancy. And we spent an evening at the hot springs of their sister hotel. It was perfect for what we needed, no complaints. "

We loved the restaurant's delicious menu, the beautiful gardens and the trails. We appreciated the care that was taken to make the trails safe for us. All the employees were helpful and sweet. We highly recommend this hotel.
We could have used some drawers to put our clothes in. That's our only concern. "
