"A truly exceptional and unique hotel experience in the heart of Higashiyama. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special place to stay while in Kyoto.
A worthwhile destination in its own right, and absolutely wonderful hospitality and service. "

"Staying at the Park Hyatt Kyoto was an unforgettable experience. The property itself is stunning, blending modern luxury with the quiet beauty of Kyoto’s traditions, but what truly made my stay so special was the team behind it. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and thoughtful, creating a sense of genuine care that’s rare to find. A special thank you to Gerardo, whose impeccable taste and thoughtful recommendations added so much depth to my time in Kyoto. His guidance made every experience feel curated and personal, and I’m deeply grateful. The management and staff together set a standard of hospitality that is far beyond. "
"Cross hotel Kyoto is clean and modern design. And it is convenient to everywhere. This is my third time to stay with them. Absolutely my first and only choice"
"Our stay here was absolutely amazing during Obon festival. It is walking distance from Kyoto station, two malls and 3 conscience stores within 5 min walking distance. The staff is kind and very helpful with providing any food recommendations and as well as quick guides (ie., direction and history) to near by events. The amenities were amazing and available on the lobby and encouraged to take what you need as a part of the eco friendly initiatives in the hotel. There is a public bath accessible for guests and massage chairs at a cost. There is a laundry change machine available on the first floor but I do recommend avoid using the laundry machines, if possible. There are only 5 machines with both wash and dry functions on the same machine so there is quite a bit of wait for a machine and after completing a wash/dry cycle, your clothes are still wet. Otherwise, the entire stay was amazing and would definitely stay here again. "
"Beautiful hotel, lovely amenities, and the *best pillows. We had an incredible view of the city and train station, including the Shinkansen, which was an unexpected bonus. Location was fabulous for getting around on the trains. Really made our trip to Kyoto! "
"My son and I stayed at Seiryu Kyoto hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed their beautiful grounds, amazing staff, superb views, and delicious meals and snacks. The room was impeccable, with every detail in place, and the lounge and restaurants upheld very high standards. "
