"Amazing property. Very clean room with amazing service."

"Nicest hotel we stayed at in Japan, absolutely worth it."

"A very pleasant boutique hotel experience. Beautiful traditional Japanese guest rooms."

"Simplemente genial. Todo fue perfecto desde la llegada hasta la salida. El alojamiento era una habitación amplia para las 4 personas que formamos la familia. Sin ruidos. La localización es perfecta, justo en el barrio de Gion y a 4 minutos de una estación. Para nosotros fue una de las mejores estancias en Japón."

"Our stay at Imperial Hotel Kyoto was excellent from start to finish. The service was outstanding— attentive and professional, with every detail taken care of. Our room was comfortable and immaculate. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the rooftop. It was such a wonderful space to relax, take in the views and enjoy the atmosphere of Kyoto. It was a nice touch to our visit. Overall, Imperial Hotel Kyoto was fantastic. From the beautiful surroundings and excellent service to the...

"Exceptional host and fantastic location."

"Staff helpful with directions, ordering a taxi. Rooftop lounge/bar closed due to weather so did not get a chance to use. Breakfast adequate - fruit frozen and coffee had burnt taste on first day."

"I didn't expect that it would be a whole house just for myself! The service was splendid, very polite and helpful. The house has everything you need, i.e. all the dishes. The interior is traditional and, very comfortable and nice."

"Good location. Very nice place to stay."

"Words can’t explain how beautiful this hotel is and in the perfect location! The hotel is absolutely amazing and the views are unmatched. I’ve stayed at many great hotels but nothing compares to this one! Breakfast is fantastic and staff is so incredibly kind! Worth staying here when you come to Kyoto!!! Amazing!!!"

"Everyone was super kind and friendly. The check in was so easy. From arrival to being in the room was maybe, 7 minutes total. They have a free washer/ dryer for your clothes and free coffee/tea in the lobby. The employees were all so nice and helpful. I really recommend this hotel. Having a terrace to sit outside on and relax after a long day of walking was also pretty sweet."

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and wonderful staff was amazing attentive, and always at ready. Rooms were exceptional amenities amazing as well !"

"We had a wonderful stay at Six Senses Kyoto as a family with young children. Everything was impressive, especially the warm and attentive service from the entire team. The breakfast was excellent, with great quality and a lovely selection. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and very relaxing, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and elegant. It was a truly memorable family stay in Kyoto, and we would love to come back again."

"A wonderful and truly authentic place that allows you to fully immerse yourself in Japanese culture and tradition. The real highlight, though, was the food. I came in with no expectations and was completely blown away by both dinner and breakfast. Dinner could easily pass for a Michelin-starred dining experience, and the yuzu porridge served at breakfast was so memorable that I’ll definitely try to recreate it at home. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!"

"Beautiful, clean, and spacious property with many traditional features and nice architectural details, close to bus stops and the underground; plus shops, cafes, and food available nearby. Host is very helpful and gave a clear explanation of how things worked, what services were available, and how to get in touch. Sake bath on offer is well worth a good soak after a long couple days on your feet exploring the area. Tatami-style mats and futons for the sleeping arrangements may sound a little...
