We came to surf Avellanas and walking wasn’t bad. If you are planning to do anything other than surf I would grab a rental car. If I return to the Avellanas area I wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay at villas vibras again!"

The cabin was super clean and comfortable and the deck area is beautiful to have coffee while listening to the howley monkeys. The pool area is nicely set up for photo opps. "Rooms were clean. We had the queen by the pool. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The view from the pool is stunning. Very relaxing spot. 25-30 minutes from Tamarindo beach. Food on site for lunch was great. Breakfast was ok. Carolina and Enrique were very kind and helpful. All in all a nice spot. We didn’t use the spa only the hot tub. But it looked nice. The road to get there is a bit windy and rough. But part of the adventure! "

"This place is paradise! My wife and I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was modern and spotless! I have visited Costa Rica a dozen times and this hotel (oasis) was by far my favorite. Joe, the owner went above and beyond in every way to make sure our stay was perfect. Breakfast is included and it’s spectacular. Tamarindo is about 10 minutes away which is a lively beach town and if you chose to venture out 30 minutes you can visit Playa Conchal and Playa Flamingo. My only regret is having...

"I spent two days here and it was unlike any other lodge/hotel I’ve been to before. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada.
