"The location was excellent—right on the beach and close to restaurants, attractions, and stores. The oceanfront views were beautiful, especially in the morning.
The pools and lazy river were enjoyable, and there were plenty of options for families and kids. The room was decent and served its purpose, though some areas could use a little updating. Staff were generally friendly and helpful during our stay."

"Nice place but the room I stayed in needed some maintenance in the bathroom. Shower flooding the floor and wallpaper peeling. Paint around door knobs peeling, stains in the carpet, cobwebs on the balcony. Barely any water pressure in the shower. This was not a 4 star room
Our breakfast server was unfriendly and foreign. Not sure if that’s the way they communicate in Jamaica or he just hates his job. Did not feel comfortable the 2x I had breakfast with my daughter. Servers are supposed to smile...

"The room was run down. Stains on the sheets, toilet handle loose and chipped, curtain rod on shower curtain all chipped and peeling. The bar in the shower was moving freely. Could not get a hold of housekeeping by phone and had to walk across the street for toilet paper and soap. The patio furniture was dirty plastic chairs and table. Hallways were dirty. Staff were spitting in front of guests. The to go section was extremely basic and there were much better options nearby.

"Everyone there was very helpful and nice. This hotel was everything the listing said it would be and more. I had a great time and never had to leave the hotel if I don’t want, everything you needed was available inside. The beach was right outside.. Unfortunately for us the beach was under construction but it was still worth every penny sent to stay at this hotel."

"Reasonable price for a great location, especially for families with children. Just be cautious of weather advisories because it will interfere with use of all amenities. Staff was pretty helpful at trying to accommodate us during our stay."

"The staff was great. However the hotel not so great. In my first room. There were socks at the base of the blinds / curtain that opened the windows, when we moved the blinds roaches started scattering everywhere. Also the bottom of the curtain had black stuff on it. The bathroom was so tiny you could barely move. Outdated is an understatement. That was room 537 in the schooner building. "Gross … only thing missing were roaches, the sheets had stains on them. I was so tired I just slept on top of the bed using a towel to lay on and another as a blanket. I couldn’t wait until the sun came up to leave."
