After a long, tiring flight, the last thing you need is check in problems. The staff hardly speak English and they do not appear to have a proper reservation system. When I arrived, they did not have any record or knowledge of my booking and that I had prepaid Expedia. After long discussion in sign language and pointing to my Expedia Itinerary, they said OK they will check it out on the internet and took my itinerary from me. They did not even check my passport.
I stayed just the one night and left the following morning - forfeiting what I prepaid for seven days. They were not convinced I had paid up, but I was not going to have another protracted "discussion" and just left and booked into a better hotel down the road - so lost out quite a lot of money.
There was no lift, so after a night out it would n't have been fun if you had to walk up to the top floors. The room and bathroom was filthy - see photos. The TV was barely hanging on to the wall. I presumed the water bottles in the fridge were free, so drank one - but had to pay for it when I left!
This is not a good hotel. No people from the staff where talking english, the room was really bad. There was some used underwear in the bathroom and the floor was wet. Not clean at all. Please, try another hotel.
After travelling for 14 months, we have stayed in a lot of hotels and hostels. This hotel is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
Upon arrival they tried to give us two single beds after we had booked a double bed. They then asked us to wait 5 minutes for another room. This building is a tall narrow building on the backpackers road and is one of the very few that does not have a lift/elevator.
We carried our bags up the 4 flights of stairs and when we finally reach our newly designated room I had to go back downstairs outraged because the whole shower unit was smashed in. The staff told me it will be fixed tomorrow and we can wait. At this point we're tired, we need a shower after a long journey and the staff are being rude, I told him that we are not waiting and to give us another room instantly.
They gave us the keys for what we were previously informed was the twin room. Well it was in fact a double and a single. A family room. Despite being smokers, we always request a non-smoking room because there is nothing worse than the smell of old stale smoke. The room stank to high heaven. The beds were uncomfortable. The TV did not work. The was one plug socket that worked and the air conditioning was pretty much f**ked.
Early morning of our last day at the hotel, the staff banged on the door several times. They tried to tell us we were meant to check out the day before, they had the dates wrong as well as everything else. NIGHTMARE!!!

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
billigt, støjende og beskidt
Ok til pengene for en overnatning, vil vil ikke være her i længere tid.
We arrived to this hotel after booking it online and the owner said that we had to pay her if we wanted a room even though we had already paid in full online. She said she didn't know anything about us already paying and that if we wanted a room, we had to pay her. It was late and other hotels were booked so we agreed. She walked us out of the hotel and into an alley where she introduced us to a man who walked us up 9 flights of sketchy stairs. We paid him and he showed us our room which was too small to stand up in. This was one of the weirdest experience we had on our trip. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
so i wouldnt usually leave negative feedback.. but this is one of the worst hotels i ever stayed in.. I mean besides the cleanliness of the room. Who seriously re uses second hand soap bars..
Had to take a photo of the dirt, hair and filth beside the bed and ask the owners twice to clean it.. do not stay at this hotel.. better hotels in the street..
