"Overall, we loved the hotel, location and the fab rooftop bar. Great service and drinks/food there. We kept warm with heaters and blankets. Its a must do. We had a superior king room which we found a bit small. But clean if a bit bland. "

"Lovely hotel. Great location. Staff very friendly. Room was compact .. as described by the hotel .. the bed is huge and really comfy and as the photos show on the website it literally fits wall to wall. This means you literally have to climb in and out from the bottom. Minimal hanging room for essentials and just enough room to have our suitcases on the floor. Room is modern and has amenities such as kettle / hairdryer. Small sofa to sit on. Would definitely recommend "

"There is a 24-hour convenience store and coin laundry opposite the hotel, both well within a minute walk. The washer and dryer are well maintained and clean by the owner of the laundromat. Hotel is nicely located, walking distance to transport and downtown Gion."
