Staff was amazing and property was wonderful. Would love to come back and stay longer. Location was excellent as well. Food was excellent and all around amazing hospitality and experience.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Booked our in -room massages with ease. Beautiful hotel in a quiet area next to a temple. However, Happy hour room was hot and packed with loud foreigners. But overall we loved our stay there!
Staff were very friendly and helpful! The hotel has a happy hour for a 2 hour period with free alcohol, drinks and snacks! A great place to unwind after a city vibe of you were previously in Tokyo! Nice relaxing Onsen. A little bit of a walk from the main strip but this can be a positive if you need some piece and quite!

Probably one of my most favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
The attention to detail was noted.
It was excellent location. It was spotless. It smelt delicious and the staff were just lovely.
We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel, that is in close proximity of almost everything that tourists like we may want to visit, staff members are very attentive.
The property was lovely and the staff could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed being in the Gion district, ventral and close to restaurants and transportation. We really liked that there was a free shuttle bus to the Kyoto Train Station. A couple of small things: we wish there was better lighting in the hotel room sink area for shaving and make-up. The food at the breakfast buffet was great, plentiful and diverse, but we felt a little rushed to finish, with staff picking up an empty plate as soon as you took the last bite.
Exceptional! Staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel offered everything you could need for a city break from bar to baths! Our room was really lovely and overall the hotel had such a relaxing energy. Would recommend.
This was our 2nd time staying at the Celestine Kyoto Gion. I really enjoyed the breakfast (though it can get busy, there is a lot of variety and the food was delicious). Service was friendly. Clean comfortable atmosphere. Enjoyed the holiday entertainment. Great location.
