"Excellent stay! The room was immaculate, and the host was extremely attentive via WhatsApp (always responsive). He also allowed us to check in as soon as the room was available. The place is walking distance to the tourist destinations in Florence, but just far enough away that you get a taste of the real city (and with lower prices in the places nearby)."

"Despite receiving confirmation of our stay following the booking process, we received a message the night before our stay at the Five Suites saying we must pay our tourist tax before arrival - our confirmation clearly stating that this tax should be paid at the property (presumably on arrival). Further, the message said that we would receive instructions on how to pay, which were not forthcoming! "This place was very nice, nearly brand new in appearance and cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere seems a little too vibrant and geared towards a younger clientele base. The live music on Saturday night was loud enough that it kept us awake well past 1 a.m. Other than that we had a great stay!"
