"I had a really great stay at Villa Maïa in Lyon. The hotel sits up on Fourvière Hill, so the views over the city are absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. What stood out most was the staff—they were friendly, helpful, and made everything feel easy without being pushy. "The staff is kind, helpful and attentive. Any problem or inconvenience was addressed immediately. My room was clean and the housekeeper was always willing to do more for me. I loved the location of the Hotel. It is within 5 minutes of a weekend Farmers Market. There were lots of shops, restaurants and French Grocery stores near by. Walking is easy with several pedestrian bridges available for crossing the river. I will happily return in the future.."

"It's beyond my expectation staying in the hotel that used to be the house which was built in the Renaissance period and it's still very classic charming. "A very good place to stay for a couple of days in Lyon. It’s close to excellent restaurants and several points of interest that can easily be reached on foot.That said, be careful if you stay during the summer and the weather is very hot, as the rooms in this hotel do not have air conditioning, which can be a problem during high-temperature summers."

"I loved this hotel and the staff was absolutely amazing. Located just a block or two from shopping and the hotel has its own parking garage. Rooms have AC and the front desk has someone at it at all times. Staff was great and recommended things to do and how to get to them like the cathedral at the top of the hill overlooking the city of Lyon. "
