"We had a major issue where we were kept up the majority of the night due to excessive noise from another room. I explained to the hotel in the morning and they were aware as had another complaint, but they would not offer me any of my money back because I didn’t call them during the night. I feel this is not fair, as all I wanted to do was try to sleep, so ringing reception was not the first thing on my mind. I would like someone to contact me to discuss. On a seperate note, the hotel is lovely, with good parking & nice finish/decor. The staff I dealt with when checking out dealing with my complaint, let the show down. They lack empathy and really didn’t want to help me."

"In theory this should be a great hotel however it’s so noisy at night. Should have realised when we got to the room and there were ear plugs at the side of the bed. Rooms are so hot and no air con so you have to open the windows then you get the noise. Should be told when booking that you won’t get to sleep before 2 am due to the noise of the bars around the hotel. "

"The reception staff very welcoming and pleasant. Room clean, comfortable bed. No problems, would go again. Central, easy to get to station, 15 minute walk to the Utilita arena."

"The whole hotel could do with a paint and a good clean many areas were dirty and our shower flooded the bathroom as the drain is outside the shower. "
