"Lovely location"

"Amenities were good overall, the hotel had some nice outdoor areas and indoor sitting areas. The bar area was relaxing and spacious and staff were helpful, particularly when we realised there was no fridge in our room and they offered to keep our items in their fridge for us to access. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed from a hygiene perspective. "Super clean and cosy room. It was ready upon arrival and staff was very helpful in explaining the property and pub / restaurant area. Room does not have AC but had a fan and brought another upon request, as well as blackout curtains. (For those traveling from US, not many pubs and older dwellings have AC like we do in the states). We arrived when it was above 30c) We had great food during our stay and were able to enjoy long hikes in the park and super convenient spot to our friends I the area."

"Great car parking, nice and handy location. There wasn’t a guest lounge which was a shame- had to sit in the restaurant on an upright chair when I would have liked to have relaxed sitting on a sofa. The door lock to my room was a bit loose. As a lady travelling solo I would have appreciated a door chain for added security on the room door"
