Eventually, we were forced to stop using the restroom in our room altogether and rely on public restrooms throughout the resort. This situation was not only unacceptable but extremely inconvenient.
What made this experience even more concerning is that I was traveling with an 83-year-old senior with limited mobility who relies on a scooter. Having to leave the room multiple times a day to find a usable restroom caused her significant stress and discomfort. This is not the level of care or accommodation we expected.
I made numerous calls to report the issue and requested to speak with a manager. Unfortunately:
* I never received a callback
* I was not offered a room change
* No proactive effort was made to resolve the situation in a meaningful way
At checkout, I finally spoke with a manager named Natoya, who acknowledged seeing the complaints and maintenance requests but stated she was unsure why no action—such as moving us to another room—was taken. This lack of accountability and follow-through is extremely disappointing.
Overall, this experience fell far below expectations, especially for a resort of this caliber. Basic room functionality and guest care should never be compromised, particularly when vulnerable"
