"Make use of the kayaks and tours on the property. Book your restaurants when you get there. Food was great. The hotel is half under construction which was no bother at all. The section that was closed is the grande. Luxury side is open and fully functional. I enjoyed my stay. A little expensive from Montego Bay airport for cab (100) so book amstar bus. (50). Every employee there was super helpful. They will accommodate whatever you need and help you go wherever you want to. Cabs waiting on site to help you immediately go anywhere."

"O quarto é péssimo. Eles vendem que são duas double beds, porém não passam de duas camas de “viúva”, ou seja, duas camas de solteiro grande. Solicitei para vários funcionários um quarto q realmente tivesse duas camas de casal e nada foi feito. Aliás os supervisors da recepção foram MUITO GROSSEIROS. Um total descaso. Estávamos em dois adultos e duas crianças, dormimos super mal, super apertados. Houve dias em que o quarto não foi limpo. Colchão velho, mole, com buracos. Barulho absurdo dia e noite de móveis arrastando no andar de cima, provavelmente era um depósito do hotel. Barulho bem alto tbm dos shows todas as noites, até uma da manhã, não há uma vedação adequada, ou seja, os vidros da varanda não são grossos. O ÚNICO ponto positivo é que mesmo que você não tenha agendado, é fácil conseguir uma mesa nos restaurantes de especialidades para jantar, porém a comida não é lá essas coisas. Resumindo, eu já havia ficado em Cancún na rede Riu e não tinha achado nada demais, preço muito alto comparado ao que entrega. Depois dessa estadia no Riu da Jamaica onde ficamos MUITO mal instalados, vendem que o quarto tem duas camas de casal, quando não tem, NUNCA MAIS me hospedarei em um hotel da rede Riu."

"This resort was very peaceful and relaxing. The food and drinks was exquisite especially because they had such a wide variety.The staff was very friendly and helpful and made you feel at home. "Here’s a cleaner and more polished version of your review while still keeping your honest opinion and personal tone: I want to believe this hotel is still somewhat new and they haven’t fully gotten everything together as yet, so I’ll give them some grace. First of all, check-in takes a very long time. Also, be mindful about the bedding situation. Even if you request a king bed on the website, you may only get whatever is available when you check in. The hotel also doesn’t seem designed for rainy days, so keep that in mind if you’re booking during the rainy season. As for the drinks, to really enjoy them you need to purchase the Privilege Package or higher. The regular all-inclusive package only includes house drinks, which honestly makes the experience feel limited. The resort is also kind of boring during the daytime because the entertainment is not very well organized. Housekeeping still needs improvement as well. However, there are a few things I really enjoyed. The coffee shop is nice, some of the food is great — especially the hibachi and several options in the buffet — and I loved the little ice cream bar. There are a lot of trolley cars around the property, but I’m not sure what their purpose is because no one ever offers guests rides, even though I saw some guests using them. I’ve stayed at other hotels in Jamaica where the staff regularly offered trolley rides around the resort. They just need more experienced personnel to truly give guests that authentic Jam"

"This is an older resort but it’s authentic to Jamaica. The staff were amazing!!! If you want to feel the relaxed feeling of being home, this is definitely the place to be. The food was delicious and the drinks were very good. The beach was tiny but nice. There’s a larger beautiful beach for people who want something bigger. The large pool was great and the water slide was really fun. We loved it that the resort was small. We will definitely be returning!! One love!!"
