"Cahel Pech is a great affordable option in San Ignacio. The pool setup is a fun amenity and meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel was happy to set us up with tours and local drivers too. On a Saturday night, the local town partied loudly until 3am but I can't really fault the hotel for that. The room could be improved with a new mattress and pillows. The view of the town is super nice and there's even a local bunny that is super friendly! Staff is top notch."

It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. "

"When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. "
