You have the quiet of the jungle with a short walk into town. Be advised that the hill from San Ignacio to the hotel is steep, but each time you climb it, it gets shorter and flatter. "The facility is incredible. You truly feel as if you are staying in the jungle. We stayed in a treehouse and the room was absolutely stunning. We were greeted every morning and night by the most welcoming staff. Whether it be at the reception desk, dinning staff or cleaners, everyone was over the top helpful and kind. We enjoyed both a breakfast and dinner buffet that was different each meal. The food was fantastic with a large variety of different foods, all tastier than ever. The guided tours are truly what makes your stay unique. They offer a variety of different types of tours with immense assistance and guidance from the tour guides to make the tour as seamless as possible with the best experience. We visited 2 ancient ruin sites, cannot say less about the experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and knew what special touches to provide to make it the most unforgettable experience. My husband and I were there for our wedding anniversary and they went over and above to make it very special and memorable. Would highly recommend the Ian Anderson Cave’s Branch to anyone looking for a unique and adventure filled experience. "

"This extraordinarily beautiful hotel is one of the most luxurious properties in Belize. We stayed in the Creekside rooms which are individual units next to running water, surrounded by lush flora and fauna, with the lovely and constant melody of birds. The service by staff is excellent, the restaurant is stunning, and each dish fresh, unique, inventive and of the highest quality. There are interesting and beautiful jungle trails on property, as well as a gorgeous sister property with a riverside restaurant to visit and enjoy. Sleeping Giant is one of a kind and worth the effort for visitors to travel inland. We chose to spend our three nights on property to fully enjoy the amenities and not venture out on excursions.
