"We absolutely loved our stay at the Fairmont! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and they went above and beyond for everything. We felt very safe and cared for. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool area was amazing. We loved the location as well. The only drawback was the price of the excursions out of the hotel. We found them to be really over priced. The excursions themselves were really great and our guide and driver were amazing. We loved the excursions that we went on...

"This is an excellent hotel in the middle of origional cairo. Buildings in this area are quite old and sometimes nasty. This is not the case here. The building was remodelled nicely, and the facilities are quite good. One has to manage expectations here because this is a historic area of the city and the buildings typically lack what you might expect in newely built hotels. This building probably was built in the 1800s. Location is wonderful. Off of a main street which gives the rooms quitness...
