PROS: Staff (concierge, valet, general) were respectful, courteous, knowledgeable; room was clean and fresh. Meal package was well worth the price with great views, great staff and great food (actual chefs in the kitchen)! CON: The bank staff onsite was rude, abrasive, not well organized and took forever for the simplest transactions, there would be tellers doing seeminglynothing while one person tends the line out the door, the atm just outside the hotels bank did not work, I almost deducted a star for this but the great service elsewhere in the hotel made up for it.

Great staff and very friendly service. The lobby was nice decorated for the holiday season and was expansive. The room was spacious, but needed a couple of cleaning adjustments when we first checked in. The views of the Nile from our balcony was nice as well! The reason I can only rate this hotel a 4 star is they still allow smoking in their lobby. While there were no smoking signs in certain areas of the lobby, it was not enforced. Being from the US, I forget that smoking is allowed in other countries when we travel. It felt like everyone smoked!

Excellent hotel! The service, food selection, loved their baked goods and the amenities at the hotel. Stayed in the Executive suite and it was delightful. Everything was clean and efficient. Would come again!

In general the hotel was nice. The food at the Lebanese restaurant was very good! Our hotel room bathroom was a bit dirty and in a state of disrepair (toilet roll holder fell off the wall and was filled with sticky wet glue), hair in the shower drain. Staff were quite friendly.

The spa was top tier, sauna, hot tub, steam room, comp fruit, tea water, pool area was clean and beautiful, lounge area outside with live music, three restaurants, food was amazing, the smell throughout the hotel was so beautiful. I will definitely be back and next time I will bring my children so that they can experience Egypt as well. My daughter and I are black from Chicago and California and we felt safe walking around there are a lot of street vendors and ppl selling trinkets but you can negotiate the price for sure.

We had an amazing stay at the Sofitel in Cairo. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—front desk, concierge, and every team member we encountered went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The pool area and gym were well managed, and the spa was truly relaxing. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, making it easy to unwind after exploring the city. The hotel’s location is also excellent, close to everything we needed. Overall, everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we would highly recommend the Sofitel Cairo to anyone visiting the city.
