Excellent staff and newly renovated. Everything was good. Only comment is the hotel on the second floor, but, no sign on the ground floor. Front entrance need to post the name of the hotel.

Good value for money; excellent location close to the Nile and the Egyptian museum in a relatively quiet neighborhood; entrance from the outside would not suggest it, but excellent renovated rooms inside. Lovely and super helpful staff at the reception. Nice breakfast. Strongly recommended.

Really nice newly opened hotel. Amazing staff who really look after you. Great location in Garden City and clean hotel even if it doesn’t appear so from first arrival on the street. Please note the hotel is on the first floor so you need to go up the stairs to find the entrance. Clean and new rooms and nice traditional breakfast. If you are looking for something a bit cheaper and simpler than the big brands and want something well located and well priced with great service, this is the hotel for you.

My husband and my stay at the Grand City and before arrived were welcomed by the friend staff via text. Their goal was to assure that all of our needs, transportation, directions etc. were taken care of. The hotel staff were friendly, accommodating and always smiling throughout our stay. The facility, hotel and hotel room were clean and comfortable, and I will definitely return for my next trip to Egypt.

Good stay, minor confusions as references

Staffs are all very friendly and helpful. I was confused at the check-in when they request for my payment which was already finished via hotels.com. I think it is the basic knowledge that customer and hotel both know. If a customer might be confused due to his/her consecutive travels, the hotel must not be confused. When I showed the receipt from hotels.com, the staff said "I believe you." which makes me feel lying while proving my payment. I have travelled for decades, but this was my first experience. Other than that, mostly the stay was good. The window cannot block the road noises and I successfully blocked the sound by using my earplugs. The staffs kindly arranged a breakfast meal box because I needed to check out at 4:20AM. That was simple but nutricious box, and I appreciate it. The hotel is on the first floor and it is hard to find from the outside. These will be useful advice to anyone who stays here.

Staff were incredibly helpful, the WiFi isn’t great, did not work at all in the room, but worked well in the lobby and dining area, the outside looks a bit off putting, a bit hard to find, the Uber could never find the hotel! The area looks a bit sketchy, but it was safe, and close to a few cafes and small stores, cafe open till about 12am, Vasko has great coffee and pastries. Only other critique was the beds were rock hard. Would stay again.
