"Overall the resort is very nice, the beach is clean and nice to be able to get in the water from the sand. The only downfall here is the food, I’ve never been one to read the reviews that say the food isn’t good and I will eat almost anything but the food was the same flavorless options for every meal. We went off resort for the last 2 days to eat."

"We stayed here for six nights in June 2026. Apparently it’s the “slow season“ because no one was here! No fighting for pool chairs or waiting at the bars or restaurants. We upgraded to preferred and it was worth it because we could visit Dreams next door and we had our own pool. The good: The grounds are pretty, our room was nice, and almost all of the staff were amazing- friendly and accommodating. The bad: the food was pretty awful, there wasn’t much entertainment at night, and the property is showing its age. I’d say Dreams Cozumel is worth it if you get a very good deal price wise, you just want to chill, and you are NOT a picky eater. Otherwise you are probably going to be upset and disappointed. Shout out to Norma, Gabriel, Armando, Luz and Rosanna for making sure we had a wonderful stay."

"The resort was very well kept and the food was amazing, hands down one of the best food experiences my wife and I have ever had. The beach was rocky and had a good amount of seaweed, but it didn't smell and the water was beautiful. The resort basically sits directly in front of a reef and so make sure to bring some goggles or snorkeling gear so you don't have to rent it. Overall a great experience with the staff being very attentive and helpful throughout our 1 week stay. Oh and the shows were also amazing, the staff that they have performing put in work on the stage and all of the shows were a great time."

"All employees are super friendly and helpful. Grounds are beautiful and upbeat. We didn't get the meal plans that is now $70/person/day with a limited menu compared to pre covid. But the food they have is great and drinks are great. The worst part is there is not hot water to shower consistently. Late afternoon is very hot water, late at night no hot water, early morning sometimes hot water sometimes no hot water. Rooms are clean. Housekeeping was not always great at putting fresh towels. With that small problem it won't keep us from coming back. We love casa del mar!!!"
