"Stayed for the weekend after coming off a cruise for some extra fun and sun. Pools were excellent and so was the frozen drinks pool side. Food was ehh. Not the best. Diner was good. Many choices for food and drinks and snacks. Bowling was fun and worth the price. I will come again with family and best spot if visiting any parks."

"Another stay at Dockside for our family of five vacation. This time we arranged for two adjoining rooms. Stay was pleasant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was clean and the texting service made getting extra towels and pillows a breeze. Pool was well attended by staff/ lifeguards and areas were well kept. The ONLY issue was housekeeping staff knocking at 8AM everyday… we are on vacation… please don’t knock before 9AM..lol But that was the only issue we encountered and not really that big of a deal! The buses were a thing of beauty- we didn’t have to wait 15 minutes at any location. Amazing stay!!!"

"Hotel did not have an elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. The hallways were very warm and breakfast was okay. Eggs and bacon were cold. They were doing renovations, so maybe that is why it was not great. Staff was alright, didnt really feel very welcoming. A place close to everything and to sleep. If that is what you are looking for and for a fair price."

"The staff and the restaurant, Tamara were great. We had a good stay up until the last night when there was a party at KaLa. The other people who stayed on the top floor were obnoxious, loud, and kept slamming doors late into the night. Overall the property was good but the shuttle from the hotel to Universal was sad. The bar in the pool area was a nuisance. Families and quiet couples are better off staying at the Universal properties like Surfside and Dockside. "

"Front desk staff was great. Cleaning staff, not so much. Computer system was down. And they would not assist the front desk staff in determining rooms that were available for our reservation. Had to wait over an hour to finally get checked in. Only because one of the front desk staff took it upon herself to physically check rooms that might be available. Based on the attitude and lack of cooler from the cleaning staff, including the supervisor, their ability to keep their jobs should be questioned. They completely forgot that they have jobs because guests stay at their hotel. And, the cleanliness of our room once we finally got one, was below par."
