"Only overnight, but really lovely stay. Rooms are across the courtyard from the pub. Was quiet when we were there as it was a Sunday, but there had been an event the day before. Lovely areas in the pub itself, we found some wing-backed arm chairs and played one of the Scrabble games they'd provided, while we had some food and drink. Breakfast in the same area the following morning was delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a basket of treats. Staff were friendly and helpful. ...

"Overall great. Just a few issues with service especially when you arrive to check in, and all you want to do is get it done efficiently with your family in tow.
So when a guest arrives, please great them. Don’t wait for them to wonder what to do next; so I guessed that the newly installed tablet maybe for me to you use, considering I had been ignored. (No other guests). Standing, there, knowing I am there, not acknowledging or asking if I need any assistance. Not a good look.

"From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom had a wet room lovely bath and even a TV built in.
