"Amazing place to stay. Within walking distance to the old town, a lot of food and shopping street nearby. The two bedroom arrangement was perfect for my family of 6. The rooftop common area was a nice touch if you would feel crowded in the room, but the overall space felt very homey. You can also refill your own water bottle. Most of all, this place is value for money "
"Hotel is extremely upscale and worked for us really well. Rooms were comfortable and amenities were great. Breakfast included so that was a major extra plus. AC didn’t work in our room initially but they gave us a new room so it was okay. Overall good stay"
"This was a great place to stay. Staff were lovely and work very hard. The whole place was immaculate and housekeeping do an amazing job.
If there is any room for improvement i would suggest a roof garden or pool along with information about the area would have been a great addition to the experience."
"We had a wonderful stay at The Lapis Hotel. The room and facilities were immaculately clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We had a very early 4:00 AM checkout, and they still prepared breakfast for us to take away, which was a really thoughtful touch. Everything about the experience felt professional and warm. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Hanoi!

"The staff is incredible. They are attentive, hard working and go out of their way to make sure that everyone is happy and have what they need.
The standard rooms are tiny and outdated. We were moved to a larger, renovated room and it was perfect. The restaurant is excellent. Food is fresh and service is exceptional. Welcome drink and desert was lovely and the parting gift was a nice touch. Reserved transport from the airport directly with the hotel. Very convenient, reliable and efficient. No need to haggle at the airport. The driver waits for you in arrival section with your name on a sign.

"Everything about this hotel works perfectly. The location, rooms, staff and food are exactly right. The manager, Alex, is happy to "go the extra mile" to make sure that you have what you need and that you're well looked after. His team is friendly, helpful and all seem to be very happy. This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel, and it won't be my last. Location-wise, you are in easy reach of Hoan Kiem lake, good eating places and, if you're feeling brave, the train street.
I just need to say and extra 'thank you' to Alex. I don't think the word 'no' is in his vocabulary and this attitude just takes the stress out of business travel in Hanoi. When a promised delivery failed to arrive, it was Alex who go on the phone to DHL to find out what was happening and then made sure that when it did eventually appear it was sent on to my next hotel in HCMC. Exceptional service.
Sure, you can stay in grander hotels in Hanoi, but you can't get much better!"

"The Oriental Jade Hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter is a true gem that blends traditional elegance with modern comfort. Its superb location makes exploring the city effortless, while the friendly staff, clean rooms, and delightful breakfast create an unforgettable stay. Surrounded by cultural richness and vibrant streets, this hotel offers a serene escape in the heart of the city, making it a perfect choice for anyone visiting Hanoi."
"The property is very clean, and two-bedroom apartment we stayed in was very spacious. There’s a large living room and dining area, and a well equipped kitchen. The staff at the sonerset are second to none. Everyone is so nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again."
"The hotel room seemed clean quiet, and had space. There were snacks in the room to buy, with reasonable prices. The hotel is a walk from the historic zone where everything is happening. Hoewever in the historic zone, taxis are very restricted in the evening so I think it's better to stay just outside the zone if you have luggage or plan to visit other areas in the evening. This hotel is also quiet, whereas if you are in the historic zone there is a lot of noise. The hotel felt like a 3 star hotel, not the 2 1/2 star advertized, whereas in Vietnam quite a number of hotels inflate their ratings, yet this hotel did the opposite!"
