But not thing you need to be aware of is the hotel closes after 11pm so you may have to call them and let them know you need back into your room, only took a few moments. "The breakfast restaurant staff was awesome, as well as most of the front desk. Unfortunately, the first person we encountered seemed bothered by a request to see if we could get aroom earlier. We arrived very early and understood that it was a long shot. However when we came back several hours later and asked if any update. We received a snarky remark that it would be ready at 3. Ok we get that. I said I thought maybe i missed a call since i was told we would be updated. We then proceeded to watch 3 other people get rooms prior to 3 pm. If they were part of a special hotel program I get it. Like a Marriott. However, family owned. My wife didn’t want to cause any drama but it did put a momentary damper on our 20th anniversary celebration. Beautiful hotel and location. Condescending behavior is not necessary. Bartenders were great too. very friendly and accommodating "
