"We travel a fair amount and have never been taken care of so well. The owner greeted us warmly, gave us an overview (and a map!) of the neighbourhood with the best places to shop and eat. The room was impeccable, well-appointed and had all amenities one would expect plus extras. We had a lovely stay and an to come back to Crete with friends and stay at Palazzo di Pietro again. Efcaristo!"

"From the breakfast, to the room, to the kind staff, everything about this stay was perfect. Very walkable to everywhere in chania and room was very large for a central location. Would come back here for a future stay for sure"

"Giorgos was a great host and made our stay amazing! He was very responsive and checked in with us via message throughout our stay! The location of the property is in the heart of it all, making walking everywhere so easy! Giorgos provided us with many recommendations for food, villages and beaches and they did not disappoint! The place was very clean and was exactly as advertised! I would definitely stay here again :) "

"We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....

"Very nice property tucked away in the Old Town where all the action is food and shopping wise! George and his staff were very very amenable and ready to make sure we loved our stay. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was amazing! Great choice, fresh and generous portions. A couple of days we had early departures and George arrange for a takeaway breakfast option for us. "Property was clean and accessible to old town Chania. It is a great location and the view of the harbor was wonderful. We were in the "Duke" room which was more spacious than the "Lord" room my son rented. There is no elevator at the property, You must climb stairs and if you rent a car there is no parking associated with the property. Street parking is crowded and limited"

"Beautifully restored 18th century building with a lovely courtyard at the entrance. Our 2 rooms enjoy the seaview. Both are spacious and comfortable with ensuite bathroom. The twin bedded room on the 2nd floor has a separate living and kitchenette but with a small bathroom. Breakfast is served on the rooftop with a great view of the harbour.
