Wonderful and charming 3 room hotel ideally located in the Old Town; Andreas and Alexandra were wonderful hosts and provided spot on recommendations for eating and sightseeing. Complete breakfast served. And the room was nice appointed with antiques and modern amenities. If you are looking for a boutique hotel experience this is absolutely recommended

These apartments are decorated so nicely with antiques and attention to details that it feels like home. The rooms are much larger than others we have stayed in. The owner is very accommodating and offers wonderful breakfast and welcome drinks. The hostess, Francesca, makes delicious food and is so sweet and helpful in every I would definitely come here every time I visit Crete.

Absolutely wonderful in every way

What a beautiful little bed and breakfast in Chania! We stayed in The Constantinople Suite. Very spacious for two people. Beautiful and comfortable. The entire property is lovely. Very easy to walk to all parts of Chania, while feeling like you are hidden away. The breakfasts are delicious, and very generous in both variety and portions. Alexandra is an excellent host! Recommend this place for anyone spending time in Chania. An absolute gem!

This is a delightful place; 3 blocks from the Venetian Harbour, but in a quiet neighborhood. The room was beautifully decorated and spatious. Felt in an 18th century setting; the bath tub is gorgeous, mattress great, sheets soft. Everything works properly. Breakfast by Alexandra was marvelous. Met Andreas the owner 2 mornings and he provided excellent advice. Highlly recommended

What a hidden gem of a B $ B. The hosts were extraordinary - friendly, extremely helpful, kind and wonderful cooks (the breakfasts cooked to order were incredible, not to mention the daily ration of Raki !). Rooms beautifully decorated. The atmosphere with a private outdoor patio for breakfasts was small but picture perfect. They really know how to make the stay memorable. Only three rooms available for visitors, but worth planning for. I just left there 3 days ago, and I am already wishing I could go back next vacation time, on or off season !

Our stay at La Maison Ottomane was outstanding! Alex and Andreas showed my fiancée and I an exceptional level of hospitality and kindness. We had an early ferry and Alex prepared a fresh breakfast for us, plus sent us off with pancakes for the road! Also, she provided us with a selection of wines to celebrate our engagement. The location is just a short walk away from the Old Port which was perfect. If you can book this unique place, you won’t forget it.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing our stay was at this hotel! It was truly such a memorable experience. It's location was perfect! Close enough to downtown to easily walk, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was unbelievable! Homemade and made to order. Everything was incredibly fresh. The owner was so friendly and assisted us with local recommendations. If or when I return to Chania, I will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service January 2024 It is a wonderful experience to stay in this beautiful hotel. The location is excellent in the charming Chania old town. Alexandra is very helpful to give us all the information to visit the region. She makes delicious breakfast for us and we are treated as royalties. Perfect stay

My biggest regret for our trip to Crete was only staying one night at La Maison Ottaman. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and designed, and incredibly comfortable. The location and size ( only 3 rooms total!) of the hotel meant it was peaceful and quiet while still being minutes from the center of Old Town. The hospitality was impeccable and the breakfast was delicious, with seemingly countless tasty options authentic to Cretan bounty and cuisine. Pragmatically, my favorite feature was the free parking directly behind the building. Without that, parking in Chania can really be a nightmare.

Situated in a quiet corner of Chania but close to everything the old town and harbour have to offer, La Maison Ottomane is an old renovated building with three unique rooms. All beautifully furnished with antique pieces in keeping with the building and decoration. But the really stand out thing is Andreas the owner and Alexandra the housekeeper. They take a personal interest in every guest and make sure you have everything you could possibly need. Andreas has so many good restaurant recommendations and suggestions for things to do. Alex is just amazing. She not only makes the breakfasts, cleans the rooms and looks after you day to day but also checks that you have everything you could possibly want or need throughout the day. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful and seems to take a personal pleasure in being able to do things to make your stay more special. We have stayed here three times and will return.

This is a unique historic property with large, beautfully furnished rooms in Old Town Chania. The hosts are very gracious and moved quickly to fix a water problem that developed soon after we arrived. The breakfasts are really lovely and are served on unique china and silver dishes. It was wonderful to have a large parking space but it's very tricky to locate and then drive down the very narrow lanes to the end of the road. We stayed during a very chilly period so we weren't able to enjoy the terrace and our room stayed quite chilly. I did appreciate the ability to walk to so many restaurants and the beautiful harbor area nearby. Driving in Chania is harrowing and the roads are very crowded, so being able to walk places became very important.

Our second stay here and every bit as wonderful as the first time. This boutique hotel is in an excellent location. Close to everything Chania town has to offer but in a quiet side street. The rooms are beautifully furnished in keeping with the Ottoman style. Carved wooden furniture, oil paintings and silver spoons and goblets are just some of the details. But the really stand out thing is the way you are looked after as a guest here. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for Andreas and Alexandra. Alexandra prepares wonderful breakfasts, keeps everything spotlessly clean and tidy and always seems to be looking for ways to make your stay more enjoyable. Andreas, the owner, provides lots of information on the best places to eat and drink and visit while in Chania and is always checking that you have everything you need and want. The welcome here is so warm and genuine that you feel like valued friends not just guests. We will be returning.
