"Beautiful hotel, friendly helpful staff. Delicious strong cocktails on the roof top terrace at sunset! The breakfast was tasty but could do with more frequent replenishing the buffet options. Definitely worth taking up the parking and transfer option given the steep hills and cobbled streets that are very atmospheric but take a bit of puff to navigate! "

"We had a fantastic stay In The honeymoon room, it was warm, comfy, and the bath was amazing. Breakfast in bed before leaving was great. Parking is difficult in Matera but if lucky you can get a space right outside like we managed too. Antonio was great throughout our stay. "

"Originalité et lieu très pittoresque : l’hôtel est aménagé dans une grotte en plein cœur de la ville ancienne de Matera. Il est joliment décoré et d’une propreté exemplaire.
L’accueil de Domenica est tout simplement extraordinaire. Celle-ci a parfaitement organisé notre séjour et trouvé une visite guidée spécialement pour nous au coucher de soleil ainsi qu’une visite le lendemain en tuk-tuk. "We absolutely loved our stay. Very attentive before our arrival, arranging our parking and shuttle to the hotel. Once at the hotel the staff was so kind and friendly and offered recommendations. The room itself was better than expected and the buffet breakfast had a great selection. Best of all, it was quiet at night allowing us to actually get a good nights sleep."

"Excellent view on Ostuni from the room’s amazing terrace (we booked room with city view), very good breakfast with lots of options. Parking super convenient just across the street. We took a Tuktuk to the historic center (15 euro) and walked back, it’s an easy 10 min walk. Shower on the smaller side but otherwise a great hotel."

"The most beautiful and unique hotel. We were taken care of with their excellent concierge before we even got to Italy. The room was exquisite, the food beautiful and I would recommend the candlelit dinner for two. It was the most wonderful and romantic experience. "
