Staff were nice and very helpful when my flight was delayed and that I arrived late. The room was as shown in the pictures and clean. Hot water in the shower. I didn’t use the swimming pool nor the spa amenities.

The staff are all fabulous and communication with them is incredibly easy. I recommend downloading what’s app before you arrive as that is how they communicate with guests. Check in was easy, I was given a brief tour of the property and sent a welcome message with attachments outlining all the services offered. The spa services were beautiful and relaxing and the drinks at the attached cafe are excellent. I can’t speak on the food as I was not able to eat much due to dental procedures. The outdoor spaces are clean and offer a peaceful environment. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The area is walkable with lots of great restaurants nearby.

This is an awesome hotel, great vibe, and awesome staff. This place is located very close to the ADO if you plan on taking trips. Whenever I come back to Cancun, I will be staying here again.

Pachamaya Palace

This property is by far the best place to stay in downtown Cancun. I can't say enough 'Great things' about this "Wonderful Place". It's been "Truly a Gift" for me.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was really friendly from the beginning. Here are some positive notes: The massage service was amazing and affordable. We rented a car and everything was nearby, at a 10min driving distance. There was also a gym nearby (evolve) which is not even a 5 minute walk. A lot of restaurant options as well near the hotel. Here were some points where there is room for improvement: In the pictures prior to renting the room, we saw a fridge but in our room there wasn’t any (deluxe studio king bed room). No iron in the room for the clothes (but can ask the reception for it, need to hand it back once done using) and no TV (makes sense as it is a wellness hotel, ideal for relaxing)

ABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN IF YIU ARE LOOKING FOR A PEACEFUL PLACE A TEN MINUTE WALK TO A BEAUTIFUL MALL IN A VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL AREA IF CANCUN AND FIVE MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN. THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS INCREDIBLY CLEAN AND THE STAFF WERE GENUINELY KIND!

The staff was very kind all the time, there was always someone to help available. The pool and yoga class were also quite nice, exceeding expectations. Matters was a bit hard for my taste but still ok. It would be nice if they could improve the shower heads. It was hard for someone not too tall to shower because most of the water was aimed at the wall, and without washing the hair, it was impossible to stand straight. If the heads were adjustable, it would be a huge improvement. I would still totally recommend this stay, hoping to go back soon!

This was a last minute booking due to a very dirty and dangerous hotel we book the last night before our return flight. The girl at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The room itself was spacious and clean, however there were not blankets, no good pillows, and the mattress need to be change. They were bend in the .middle and rock as a rock.

Especially for a solo traveler, safety is the on the top of mind. The place let you feel like at home. Soft and light music playing in the background with aromatic fragrance in the air reduce the stress right away. Either you are relaxing by the pool or stretching on the mat at patio, or sipping and/or dinning under soft lighting surrounded by the green, you will find whatever you need as a break from traveling. Close to the safest area in the city, City hall and public transit, walking distance to the local shopping and hidden jems. With flexible types of accommodations and warm hearted staff, you can find people from all walks of life, different continents and difference age group flocking here even in the slow tourist season.

Pachamaya Wellness Spa

When I booked Pachamaya at the last moment due to flight cancellations I was merely looking for a place to stay, but what I got was surprizing and unexpected in a very good way. They are a holistic wellness center and deserve the stars they have. The lady at the reception, Lucero was friendly and courteous. Tho I was unable to attend their wellness activities, I did take advantage of their spa services and it provided the much needed theraputic relaxation. The room was not sound proof but I had restful sleep both nights I stayed with them. Several great food options around the place. Safe neighborhood for pedestrians.

Hidden little GEM

The people who work at are AMAZING! They are extremely friendly and went above and behind. Initially we were only going to stay for 1 night, but ended up staying 3 nights. It was very chill and quiet. We enjoyed the pool area, although the hot tub was not heated, so that was unfortunate. We got massages, facials and did one of their sound baths. All were amazing, however during the sound bath, we could hear the front receptionist talking with other guests, which was disruptive. The food was delicious in the restaurant and the lattes, were mouth watering! We didn’t realize it was a hostel until day 2. We got to meet some wonderful guests! It was close to many things, and made getting around easy. We did have a car, and were able to park for free right in front. The room (#5) was large and came with 2 private twin bunks and 1 double sized bed. The first night, I slept on the double and it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable, so I decided to give the bunk a try. It was MUCH more comfortable and I actually really liked the curtains on it! Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Pachamaya was a stunning property! I felt honored to be one of the first to stay here. My fiancé and I came for a short 3 day stay over New Year’s weekend. The owners and staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They gave great recommendations on where to go, eat, transportation to the beach and events in the hotel. The pool was beautiful and clean and the restaurant’s food was very delicious, eating at the restaurant is a MUST. Very clean room with thoughtfully planned out amenities, the air conditioning worked very well, there was great water pressure, hot water, complimentary water and shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathrooms. The owners made us feel at home, they are still adding to the property and it’s very exciting. We didn’t want to leave and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you Paula, Fernanda and Fernando!

Pachamaya is a good basic place to stay. The room was clean, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that the king bed was hard as a rock and hurt my back so I spent the majority of the nights on the bunk bed. There was no fridge in the room and there was no TV. The only fridge is in the lobby so if I wanted to grab a cold beer I had to go get it out of the communal lobby fridge. I disliked the lack of trash cans in the room as it was small and I had to frequently take garbage out to the pool area cans. Overall I had a nice stay and as I said one major plus was the advice and guidance from Staff like Roy, Flora, and Fernando. I would certainly stay at Pachamaya again just because of how awesome the staff was. I had a nice massage and enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant. Be advised the pool temperature is very warm so it is not very refreshing but it is very clean.
